背景调查政策, Drug Screening Policy and Substance Use Compliance
An applicant will be disqualified and not accepted in the 健康科学系 programs based upon the following guidelines from Colorado Career and Technical Education (coloradostateplan.com):
- New students who refuse to comply with a background investigation will not be admitted to the program.
- Students who do not self-report convictions once in the program and/or are convicted of any of the below convictions, that would disqualify an applicant, will be dismissed from the program.
- Any felony violent conviction of homicide (no time limit).
- A crime of violence against persons, not specified previously (e.g., 攻击, 绑架, 非法性行为, 其他性犯罪, crimes against at-risk adults or juveniles, 等.)，如§18-1所定义.3-406. C.R.S. in the 10 years immediately preceding the application submittal.
- Any act of domestic violence as defined in Title 18-6-00.3 C.R.S in the 7 years immediately preceding the application submittal.
- Any crime of child abuse or incest, as defined in Title 18-6-401 and 18-6-301. C.R.S., in the 7 years immediately preceding the application submittal.
- Any crime related to drug abuse or 分布 (e.g., 出售, 占有, 分布, or transfer of narcotics or controlled substances) in the 7 years preceding the application submittal.

- Registered Sex Offenders (no time limit).
